How to spend a night in Seville

18 Jun 2017

Seville during the day is very pretty, but during the night it's also amazing! Want some inspiration for things to do at night in Seville, then read carefully!

1. Calle Betis

Around 2 in the afternoon, all the bars at Calle Betis open their doors. Then you will have a beautiful view of the Guadalquivir, the Puente de Triana and the Torre del Oro. Calle Betis is especially popular in the summer and warmer months for those looking to cool off by the river, you will get a nice breeze from the river! But at night, everything is lit up, and it's beautiful to have a tinto de verano (a drink similar to sangria) or a beer and just watch the beautiful view of Seville at night!

Two bars that we would recommend are Mariatrifulca and La Tertulia.

2. Night tour in the Real Alcázar

The Alcázar of Seville is a royal palace in Seville, originally developed by Moorish Muslim kings. Later it was also used by the Catholic Monarchs, and nowadays it's open for visitors.

Of course you can visit the Real Alcázar during the day, but do you you want a dramatized visit? Then go at night! For €12 you get a tour through the palace. The gardens are not included in the night tour.

  • From October to March 31th at 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, 21:00.
  • From April 1st to September 30th at 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, 22:30.

Also, in the summertime there are concerts being held in the Real Alcázar. This varies from classical music, to jazz, flamenco and music from all over the world.

3. Watch the sunset at the Metropol Parasol

On the Metropol Parasol, you have a beautiful view of the whole city. If you visit the building around 20.00, you can watch the sunset, and that's a gorgeous view! Visiting hours are from Sunday to Thursday 10:00-23:00 and Friday to Sunday 10:00-23:30. The cost to enter the observatory viewpoint is €3.

Hopefully you have some inspiration on how to spend the night in Seville!
