18 Jul 2016

Tapas are part of the Spanish culture and tradition. Everywhere you go you can try some. But in some cities, the taste is not the only great thing about tapas, the price also. Granada is the only Spanish city where tapas are FREE. Yes, free. You just have to order a drink, and you’ll only pay for that... Pretty great uh?

Granada is such a beautiful city on top of that, :so you really need to plan a visit there!
Here to help you choose a tapas bar, we made a special Top 10 list for you! Of course this could have been a 50 top one because there are a lot, but to get you started, try these ones:

  1. Grifos y tapas: really famous one, especially for students: 2 round of free tapas with your drink! Erasmus organizations use to meet there during the week.
  2. Taberna El Chambao: many group offers, and good tapas.
  3. Saint Germain: really nice and calm place, it’s hidden from the big avenue Gran Vía de Colon, it’s a good way to escape the city (not that you need to), really nice waiters and great original food and wines!
  4. Charlotte: really nice atmosphere, especially on weekends, a lot of students come there.
  5. Bodega La Bella y La Bestia II: really good location (near Calle Elvira), great atmosphere and decoration. Great food and group offers.
  6. El Nido del Búho: great food and big proportions, also proposes offers for sweet tapas. Really correct price in a nice and warm place.
  7. Shambala: great food, also options for vegetarians, y good music.
  8. Vinilo: nice waiters and delicious home-made tapas
  9. Rincón de Rodri: fish bar, everything is delicious
