At Andalucia Tours and Discovery we have over 10 years of experience with bikes, tours and everything that has to do with Seville. With an average of 25-30  tours a week, you can say that we know our way through Seville and what to do and what not to do within the historical city centre. However it is always possible that something happens at the office or on the road. I am talking about the bloopers of course. The guides riding the wrong way, riding within the rails of a tram (yes it happens), falling over with their bike and a lot of other things. In this blog we ask the guides about their bloopers and the weirdest things that they have experiences during tours. 

Bicycle Race Bloopers

As what Alexis has been going through is that he had people who booked a tour who had a bachelor party. These woman drunk a lot of wine before the tour and wanted to ride the bike so bad. So what happened is that they were at Real Alcazar but they were convinced that they were at Plaza de Espana. They were so sure and acted like the guide themselves. Furthermore, what happened is that they all suddenly started peddling with their hands and as you can guess it, one fell off the bike and scratched herself. That was one of the funniest tours we had ever witnessed at Andalucía Tours and Discovery.

For Rosalie what she has been going through is actually a lot, first she had someone who brought a golden retriever with the tour. This tour took a lot longer than normally because the dog was going really slow. Also another unusual experience what Rosalie went through was also with a dog, a chiwawa. This one had no hair, a naked chiwawa. In the middle of the tour the dog’s boss noticed that her dogs is not barking like it’s used to. Then another man in the tour told her this might be because it is a lot warmer in Spain. In Holland it is way colder and because the dog is feeling cold he starts barking.  

We once had a tour guide named Paulien. And she got through a very weird experience with her tour. In the middle of the tour, when they were in the city, she started to notice that her bike was getting heavier, like someone was sitting behind her. She turned around and saw someone holding on to her bike while he was on skates. So he just lifted with her through the city without Paulien to notic.e. A very weird thing to happen.

What Nan has gone through as a guide is also funny to know. She once lost a person during a tour because that person went on exploring the city himself. She also once went through callejon de las besos and there was a photoshoot from a couple that was going to get married. All the people from the tour started to look at it and then suddenly the photographer asked if he could use a bike to make a photo from it with the braids on it. Here are the pictures:
