What is the LUX fashion exhibition?


The LUX fashion exhibition showcases contemporary fashion from Andalusia. It is organized by the Consejería de Cultura y Deporte de la Junta de Andalucía in collaboration with the Ayuntamiento de Sevilla. The exhibition features creations from 19 designers representing the 8 different provinces of Andalusia.

Each designer presents several garments, accompanied by sketches and explanations of their inspiration. Their work reflects a clear connection between tradition, identity, modernity, and sustainability.

Why is this event being held?
The LUX fashion exhibition is held in Seville because the city perfectly balances tradition and modern creativity. It symbolizes Andalusian creativity, tradition, and innovation. The Junta de Andalucía aims to expand the Andalusian fashion industry as part of its cultural and economic strategy.

This event is mainly intended to give local designers visibility, inspire young designers, and bring together tourism and fashion culture.

Practical information about LUX
This beautiful event takes place in the Real Fábrica de Artillería, a historic building now used for cultural events. Its spacious halls and high ceilings make it ideal for showcasing couture pieces. It’s within walking distance of the city center.

Admission is free, and it’s open from October 29 to December 8, Monday to Saturday 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM and on Sundays and holidays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. It’s definitely worth a visit.
