During the summer, southern Spain gets extremely hot. So when visiting Seville, many tourists make sure they find a hotel with a swimming pool. If you didn’t book a stay with the opportunity to do some swimming in seville, you can always visit an aquatic park or a public swimming pool. You can go to the Mairena Piscina for example. There you can chill by the pool all day, after paying the entrance fee of 7 euros for adults (and only 2,60 euros for a child under the age of 12).
Looking for things to do in seville with children? Go to an aquatic park like Aquapolis or Agua Magica. For entering these parks, you’ll pay between 20 and 25 euros.
When you are looking for some refreshment during the summer in Sevilla, it might be a good idea to take a stroll along the riverside and to have a drink at the Calle de Betis, in Triana. You can enjoy a cold drink or ice cream while having the enjoyable view (and a nice breeze if you are lucky) of the Guadalquivir. Also a walk in one of the many parks can be quite enjoyable during hot summer days. The parks have a lot of trees which offer nice places of shade.
If you want to escape the city of Seville because of the heat, you can always do a daytrip to the seaside and visit Cadiz. You can get there by train or you can book a day tour with us, so we can arrange everything for you!
The outskirts of Sevilla too are certainly worth a visit. You can join one of our Seville day tours to the country side tour for example, where you will be enjoying beautiful views while discovering the mountains and cosy villages, see the agriculture and the animals and enjoy a typical lunch. Last but not least, we will end this amazing day with a swim in the river. Can you wish for more during a hot summer day?
