Most people directly imagine great weather when thinking of Spain. Now there is no lie in that the weather is pleasant, but the sun really gets through in Spring. So what do the locals of Seville actually do in Spring?
People in Spain really enjoy communicating with one and another. During a visit in Seville, you will notice that a great number of people sit on terraces, just talking with each other while enjoying their beer or wine and tapas.
On very warm days, it’s also great to go for an ice cream, a popular place to go to is in the street Alameda de Hercules, shop Freskura.
There are several parks in Seville where the locals, and tourists, can go for a nice walk in the sun with friends or family. One of the most known and beautiful parks, is Maria Luisa Park. Now there aren’t many public places to take a fresh dive in a swimming pool, these are often in hotels, so the locals most likely will go to the coast or to Isla Mágica. Isla Mágica is an amusement park with different themes, included a water park called Agua Mágica. A place to recommend at the coast is Cadíz, this because the place itself is very beautiful and of course because there are amazing beaches!
Next to relaxing, drinking, eating and communicating, some people like to be active too. This isn’t a problem at all in Seville. You already read about the parks and these places are great for jogging as well. Then there is also the river, Guadalquivir. The river is very tranquil, and that combined with the weather makes it perfect for kayaking.
The nightlife will also make a change during Spring. Some clubs are only open during Spring and Summer season, this because these bars and clubs are in the open air. During other seasons it is way too cold to be there in the night. Evenings like this gives you a mixed feeling between a normal club and a festival. Talking about festivals, in June there is also a great festival called “Territorios” with many different kind of artists.
It does seem like a good life, right? Well if you’re interested to see it all by your own eyes, we will be more than happy to show you around!
