The aquarium is open for a visit every day of the year. It can be found along the Guadalquivir river at the Paseo de las Delicias., very near to the Maria Luisa Park, which is easy to reach by bike over the bike paths of the city.
A walk around the Aquarium is focused around the trip that explorer Magallan made on his expedition to the East Indies in the 16th century where the port of Seville was the starting point.
In the aquarium you can see more than 400 species in the 31 thematic tanks. Walk through the different landscapes of the expedition of Magallan. You can see fresh and salt water fishes, turtles, octopuses, coral reefs and in the biggest tanks in Spain you can see beautiful sharks.
Seville’s aquarium offers programmed activities and guided tours. For a special experience there is the ‘Night with sharks’ where you get immersed in the world of sharks through many games adapted to your age. It starts at 10 pm and ends 8 am the next morning.
