The history of the San Miguel Fair in Seville dates back to 1875, when a commercial fair dedicated to San Miguel was established. Like all the other major events, the fair was accompanied by bullfights. Although the stock market stopped in 1970, bullfighting continued. The fighting takes place in the beautiful arena of Seville, la Real Maestranza, or known as Plaza de toros. A cycle is set up by the arena management company in which three bullfights are. A normal bullfight and two extraordinary battles, which are the last two of the Sevillian season. The novillada is made up of winners of the year and will be announced at the beginning of September.
