Dear all,
And then, suddenly, those five months are over. I arrived at ATD in early February and now, almost five months later, my work placement has come to an end. Over the past few months, I’ve really enjoyed working at ATD Bike Holidays.
What began as an exciting adventure in a new city quickly turned into a period full of wonderful experiences, new challenges and, above all, lots of great moments. During my placement, I was involved in all sorts of things: from social media and website management to organizing tours, helping customers, and supporting the team in the office. No two days were the same, and it’s precisely that variety that makes the work so enjoyable.
As well as all the work, I also learnt an awful lot. Not just professionally, but personally too. Working in an international environment, collaborating with colleagues from different cultures and interacting daily with customers from all over the world has given me many new insights and boosted my self-confidence.
What made this work placement extra special for me were the people. From day one, I felt welcome within the team. So, thank you for all your help, the friendly atmosphere, the lunches, the funny moments and all the lovely conversations. You made sure I looked forward to going to my work placement every day.
Seville has also earned a special place in my heart. The beautiful streets, the cozy terraces, the many sunny days and, of course, the wonderful Spanish culture have made this experience complete. I’ve made memories here that I’ll never forget.
Now it’s time for a new chapter, but I look back on this period with great pride and gratitude. Thank you to everyone at ATD Bike Holidays for the opportunities, the trust and, of course, all the wonderful moments.
