Drinks With A View – Rooftop Bars In Seville

From the rooftop terrace of Hotel EME you have the best view on the cathedral. It´s right in front of it and from up there you can almost look inside it. The cathedral gets totally different dimensions when you´re watching it from up there. On some days they also offer a dinner on the rooftop. For more information, you should ask directly at the reception. Reservations are required. The bar is opened every day for drinks. The rooftop bar of hotel EME is one of the most expensive rooftop bars in Seville. A cocktail can be between 10 and 14 €. A beer or a coke around 6€.

An alternative is the rooftop of Hotel Inglaterra which is located at Plaza Nueva. From up there you can enjoy the cosy lounge feeling on white sofas, look at the Giralda and see amazing sundowners of Seville. Beside the great variety of drinks they also serve snacks like sandwiches and salads. The prices are a little bit lower than in Hotel EME but here you also have to “pay for the view”. A glass of wine would be 5€ which is in comparison to prices in other locations high.

From the rooftop of Hotel Ribera de Triana you can enjoy a totally different view. From this side you can see the “skyline” of the center of Seville in the background of the river Guadalquivir. You can still see the Giralda and the cathedral from here but it´s not in the focus as it is on the rooftops in the center.  Ribera de Triana also offers you views on “Puente Isabel” (The triana bridge), Torre de Oro and the bullfighting arena. Especially at night the view is amazing when the lights of the city are reflected in the water of the river.

A totally different and also the cheapest alternative would be Metropol parasol. Also called “Las Setas” translated “The mushrooms” is the biggest wooden construction in the world. Usually it´s a viewpoint of the city. From up there you can have a 360° view on the whole city. By paying the entrance of 3€ you receive a voucher for a free drink up on the platform.
