Happy Fathers Day! Every day of the year should be like Father’s Day, where you shower you dad with all the love in the world! But if you want to do something nice for him on this specific day, to thank him for everything he does for you, then definitely read carefully!
Here are three thigs to do on Father's Day!
1. Visit the soccer stadiums
Most dads really LOVE soccer, and as you may know, Seville has two soccer teams, Sevilla FC and Real Betis. And best of all, you can do a tour through the stadiums! More information is provided below.
Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium
During the guided tour, you’ll visit the 1890 room, the trophy Room, Antepalco, the presidential box, the press room, the dressing room, the player's tunnel, the playing field and the benches.
The prices are €10 per person and children under the age of 5 can visit the stadium for free!
Real Betis Balompié
The guided visit includes the glass doors, the mixed zone, the press room, the executive boxes, the reception areas and trophy room, Radio Betis, the home changing rooms, the changing room tunnel - where you can leave a message for your favourite player and it will be something he sees just before setting foot on the pitch -, the pitch, the home bench, the north goal and lastly the official shop.
The prices are €15 per person and children under the age of 6 can visit the stadium for free!
Now, if you and your dad both prefer a different soccer team… There’s no need to panic! Of course there is more to do in Seville.
2. Have a beer
Obviously only when you’re 18 year or older, you can go to a bar and have a beer with your dad! Now, a fun place to do this, is beside the river, next to the Puente de Triana. The bars open in the afternoon, and you can sit beside the river and have a beautiful view plus a cool breeze!
3. A tour through the Plaza de Toros
Visiting a bullfight is not for everybody, but you can still visit the museum that is inside to get to know a bit more about the Spanish tradition! Men with courage who have no fear, exactly how you picture your dad to be.
During the tour, you’ll visit the small but interesting museum, with a collection of memorabilia that includes costumes, posters and bull's heads, as well as paintings of some celebrated Sevillano toreros such as Juan Belmonte and Joselito El Gallo.
The price is €7 per person.
Hopefully you got inspired by these Father's Day gift ideas and have plans for a fantastic day to celebrate with your dad!
