Hello everyone!
My name is Maria, I’m 19 years old. Originally, I am from Romania, but I live in Belgium. I came to Seville for an internship. I will be here only one month, so it is a short stay, but still a valuable experience.
I am currently in my final year of tourism studies at Frans Fischer school. I chose this profile because I love to stay active, meet new people, and turn every day into a new adventure.
Spending just one month abroad in Seville may not seem significant at first glance because of the short period of time. However, for me, it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This experience has taken me far beyond my usual routine, allowing me to embrace a completely different way of life, meet new people, discover new perspectives, and learn new traditions.
This internship was chosen by my school, including both the destination and the placement itself. At first, I did not really know what to expect, but I can honestly say that I am very happy with everything.
The city is beautiful and full of history, which makes this experience even more special. Every day, I discover something new, and it’s a great opportunity to learn not only professionally but also personally.
As for the internship, I feel really comfortable in my workplace. I am surrounded by kind and supportive people, which makes a big difference. It creates a positive environment where I can grow, gain confidence, and truly enjoy what I do.
It is a unique opportunity that I would likely never have experienced if I had remained in Brussels, following my regular schedule. Stepping outside of my environment has not only broadened my horizons but has also been both personally and professionally enriching. This internship is helping me interact better with different people and cultures.
I am also learning more about the reservation system and how it works, and I hope that by the end of my internship I’ll have learned even more. All of this is possible thanks to ATD Bikes, where I am currently doing my internship.
Overall, I’m very grateful for this experience and everything it brings me.
