The must see in Alfalfa

When you are in Seville, you have to go to Alfalfa. Alfalfa is a small neighbourhood here and and it is really worth it to visit it. So, I have some must see in Alfalfa you have to visit!

1. Iglesia del Salvador

When you are in Seville and especially at Alfalfa, you have to visit Iglesia del Salvador. The Salvador church is the second largest church of Seville after the Cathedral of Seville. This church was built in 1674 and was based on the remains of the Mezquita Mayor, which was then the main mosque of Seville.

Enter this church through the main entrance at Plaza del Salvador. When you had a good time at this church, you have to continue your way uphill, cross the Alfalfa square, and visit the most private palace of Seville: Casa de Pilatos. 

2. Bar Alfalfa

You love tapas? Then Bar Alfalfa is the place that you must visit. This bar is located at Plaza Alfalfa in a beautiful corner building. The owner of bar Alfalfa is Italian. Did you know Bar Alfalfa has 2 menus’? They have the printed bar menu, is more Italian food, and the blackboard menu, more Spanish tapas.

3. Peña Flamenca  “Niño de la Alfalfa”

When you got a great meal at Bar Alfalfa, you have to visit Peña Flamenca. The Peñas Flamencas are cultural associations dedicated to Flamenco. They offer the chance for gifted amateurs to perform and practice with local flamenco artists. They also offer visitors an opportunity to see flamenco performed in a relaxed setting.
