Saying goodbye to Andalucía Tours & Discovery

28 Aug 2017

So, I’ve been in working at Seville for quite some time now – five months to be exact. But unfortunately, all good things will come to an end. I have finished my internship now, and in a few days I’ll be going back home to the Netherlands.

But, before I leave, I wanted to share some of my favourite places in the city with you! Of course, I’m not going to name all of them, because that are just too much to mention. But here are three of my most favourite places in Seville!

1                   Calle Tetuán and Calle Sierpes

I really love shopping, that is why it was most likely to find me in these two shopping streets. Shopping in Seville is very nice! My favourite stores are the Sephora, H&M, Zara and Bershka. I would go there very often during my days off or after work. I’m hoping everything will fit in my suitcase, though…

2                   Acuario Seville

I really love the aquarium of Seville! I had discovered it in the first week I arrived, with my boyfriend. I have been there a total of four times now, just because looking at all the fish and reptiles there are is truly magical. They even have sharks!

3                   Maria Luisa Park

This park is truly beautiful and that’s why I have spent a lot of time here! Especially because Seville doesn’t have a beach, the park was the perfect place to cool off. Often I would take a towel and just relax in the sun with a drink. I am really going to miss it.

Well there you go! These are a few of my favourite places in this wonderful city! I’m surely going back to Seville in a few years! And then I hope to stay at the Alfonso XII hotel, the most luxurious hotel in the city! This was also one of my favourite places to have a drink, because the cocktail bar is truly wonderful!

I truly had an amazing experience here in Seville and I will definitely have mixed feelings of sadness and happiness when I hop on that plane back to Amsterdam...
