Saying goodbye to Britt

The past few months have really, flown by!

I entered a new city and environment at the beginning of September, so mega exciting. I had nothing to worry about because I was well taken care of by everyone at ATD.

I learned a lot during my internship, not only professionally, but also personally I improved by leaps and bounds. This is all thanks to my wonderful colleagues.

In addition to the tours, I also worked behind the scenes, trying to put ATD on the map through social media. I have greatly broadened my general knowledge and my knowledge about the city through this.

Not only did I work, but I really made memories and friends all over the world actually. Together with Ismay, I lived in an apartment and that ended up becoming a small family for such a short period of time and that also makes the time super special.

I'm going to miss a lot about the city, namely the sunny days and the quiet way of life. Also, I'm really going to miss the food here, specifically said carrillada iberica! For anyone who doesn't know what it is, I highly recommend it!

These 5 months have become very special to me and I really look back on them with joy, a full heart, and a surplus of memories.

But all good things come to an end, and so does my time here in this beautiful city. I hope to return one day for a city trip or in a few years I will come back to live here permanently.
