Yes! Being in Seville during summer is great because you can enjoy a blue sky and sunny days everyday. But (yes there is unfortunately a but), this is the hottest season of the year and afternoons can be sometimes unbearable, heat-wise. So you have to get with the Spanish way of life rhythm while finding a way not to waste your time.
The nights are incredibly enjoyable, the weather is just perfect, you can still walk around in tank top and shorts, and go around the beautiful city which doesn’t sleep until late. People are all around the streets and it seems as if everyone has woken up feeling perfectly fine from their afternoon nap ;)
You can organize your night visit with your family, friends or even alone! No matter how old you are, there’ll always be something for you to see.
Even without knowing where you’re going and being alone, when you sit on the stairs in front of the Cathedral, who knows when a guitar player will start playing his music, or when the next Flamenco street show will pop up right in front of you. And truth is, it’ll happen! All of a sudden you’re not alone, you’re sitting in a city of life, joy, culture, music, dance, beauty…. The Cathedral seems to be on fire with its beautiful night lightning. And the birds above it are dancing to the rhythm of the night, or is it to the guitarist’s music?
